British Columbia Provincial Nominee Immigrant-2022

British Columbia, also known as British Columbia, is one of the four major provinces in Canada. Applicants and spouses and children who have been nominated by the province of British Columbia are eligible to submit a permanent residence visa application to the federal government and obtain a maple leaf card.

At present, most of the immigration projects nominated by British Columbia require an employer offer. Only the master and doctoral graduate category can apply without an employer offer after meeting the conditions.
BC Provincial Nominee Skilled Worker Category

British Columbia’s growing economy requires skilled and experienced workers. The Skilled Worker category is a way for workers in professional, managerial, technical, trade or other skilled occupations to obtain permanent residence in British Columbia.

Applicants must meet the following requirements:

  • Have at least 2 years of full-time (or equivalent to full-time) work experience in any technical position, and the occupation category belongs to NOC 0, A or B category, and full-time paid technical vocational practice work experience after completion of studies can also be recognized;
  • Have accepted a long-term full-time job offer from an employer in British Columbia, the job category must belong to NOC 0, A or B, be qualified for the job, and the salary is in line with the salary standard of the same industry in British Columbia;
  • Applicants whose occupation category is NOC B should have a language level of at least CLB 4;
  • Demonstrate sufficient funds to support the applicant and his/her family and meet the BC minimum household income requirements;
  • If the applicant is currently in Canada, they must have legal status;
  • Meet the BC Skilled Immigration Score Invitation Score;
  • If you choose the EE BC pathway, you need to meet the application conditions and language requirements of one of the categories of Federal Skilled Workers (FSW), Federal Skilled Workers (FST) or Federal Experience Classes (CEC) under the EE system.
 
BC Nominated Health Authority Category

Health care is an important priority for British Columbia. Applicants may be eligible for this category if they have a full-time job offer in any occupation from a public health agency in BC. Applicants who are doctors, nurse practitioners or midwives but are not directly employed by a public health authority may also be eligible for this category. No registration is required for this category, and applications can be submitted directly to BC Nomination if all conditions are met.

Applicants must meet the following requirements:

  • The applicant holds a long-term full-time job offer as a direct employee in any of the following BC public health authorities:

    • First Nations Health Authority

  • Or, if the applicant is a doctor or nurse practitioner who is or will be working in British Columbia with the support of a British Columbia public health authority, at the time of submitting the application, is able to submit a letter of recommendation from a British Columbia public health authority confirming that: the applicant position, the applicant is working or will be working in BC, the BC health authority supports the applicant to submit a BC nomination application;
  • OR, the applicant is a midwife who has worked with an established practice group in BC for at least six months prior to submitting the application, and can provide a copy of the official letterhead of the established practice group in BC at the time of submission of the application A confirmation letter confirming the date the applicant joined the practice group and signed by the applicant and the head of the practice group;

BC Nominated Entry and Semi-skilled Trades

The BC Nomination Entry and Semi-Skilled Trades (ELSS) category is for applicants currently working in the tourism/hospitality, long-distance transportation, food processing or healthcare industries in BC, or currently working in the province’s Northeast Development Zone. Applicants must meet the following application requirements

  • Have been in full-time employment for that employer for at least nine consecutive months prior to submitting your application, during which time you can work in different ELSS occupations for the same employer, and must maintain that employment throughout the provincial nomination application process;
  • Able to perform the job offered, and the salary and benefits are in line with the same industry standard in British Columbia;
  • Must be able to demonstrate that minimum income requirements have been met throughout the nine-month period prior to submitting registration and applications;
  • Applicants must have completed at least a high school diploma, either in or outside of Canada;
  • A language score of a minimum of CLB 4;
  • Have a legal status while working in Canada;
  • The following additional requirements apply to the long-haul truck driver occupation:
    • At least two years of work experience as a long-distance truck driver in the three years prior to enrolling in the BC Provincial Nomination, either in or outside of Canada;
    • Must hold a valid Class 1 BC driver’s license with air brake endorsement during nine months of full-time employment;
    • Long-haul truck drivers’ annual salary is calculated using the average number of hours worked based on their nine-month pay statement, up to a maximum of 60 hours/week*52 weeks;
  • Health care occupations are also subject to the following additional requirements:
    • Must hold a registration or license from the occupation in BC.

BC Nominated International Student Category

This category is applicable to international students who have graduated from Canadian universities or colleges in the past three years. It is not limited to those who graduated from institutions in British Columbia. Some graduate-level international students may also have the qualifications to apply for BC’s nomination for graduates. qualifications.

Applicants must meet the following application requirements

  • Applicants must have a degree, diploma or certificate from an eligible Canadian post-secondary institution:

BC Technology Industry Immigration Program

On August 28, 2017, the British Columbia PNP officially announced the launch of the technology industry pilot immigration program (BC PNP Tech Pilot). This is not a new immigration program, but it can be prioritized for certain occupations in short supply. 1. Register

The application categories that need to be registered include the skilled worker category and the international student category in the EE BC program and the skilled worker category, entry and semi-skilled worker category and international student category in the traditional program. Before registering for the British Columbia PNP, the EE British Columbia project category needs to register an EE account through IRCC’s EE system. 2. Invitation

3. Apply

Submit your skilled immigration application through the BC PNP online system. The application requires an application processing fee of CAD 1150. Once the application is approved, the applicant will be nominated for permanent residence. ​

4. Nomination

Get a provincial nomination and apply for permanent residence to IRCC. After the applicant receives the confirmation of nomination from the BC PNP, he or she is required to submit a completed permanent residence application to the designated IRCC visa office. Be careful not to submit your application no longer than the validity period in your nomination letter.
