The Ontario Provincial Nominee Program is designed to help Ontario meet labor market needs and economic development by nominating experienced and skilled applicants to build the province’s economy and help Ontario employers recruit and retain foreign workers. Applicants nominated by Ontario are eligible to apply to the Commonwealth of Canada for a permanent residence visa.

The overall 2022 OINP provincial nomination quota is 9,750
