This category is divided into two pathways according to whether the applicant has a job offer. PEI PNP will give priority to applicants who are currently living and working in PEI.
Applicants who meet the application conditions can submit an EOI to PEI PNP, and PEI will invite applicants to apply for provincial nomination based on the principle of high scores.
Application Requirements
- Meet any of the application requirements for Canadian federal skilled immigration, federal skilled worker immigration or experience-based immigration;
- Create EE and enter the candidate pool;
- Graduate work permit holders who graduated from provinces other than PEI must have worked for the PEI employer for at least nine months prior to submitting the EOI application, and their graduate work permit must be valid for at least four months at the time of submitting the EOI.
Note: PEI restricts applications for certain occupations due to the high number of postgraduate work permit holders from other provinces.
