Application Requirements

  • In the past five years, have at least one year of work experience in a designated occupation, or have worked full-time in Saskatchewan for an employer with a designated occupation job offer (sponsoring a provincially nominated employer) for at least six months;
  • If the applicant is not currently working for an employer in Saskatchewan, the language must meet CLB 5, if the applicant is currently working for a Saskatchewan employer, the language proficiency must meet the employer’s work requirements, and EE category applicants must meet the language CLB 7 minimum Level;
  • College degree or above, occupation related to major;
  • Regulated occupation applicants must have Saskatchewan certification;
  • Intention to work and settle in Saskatchewan;
  • Hold a long-term, full-time job offer in a designated occupation from a Saskatchewan skilled or innovative industry employer with a valid SINP JAL, and the job offer is in one of the following occupations:

    • 2147 Computer engineers (except software engineers and designers)
